list of recent documents in word 2003

is there a way to get a longer list of recently used documents in word 2003?
i can only get 9 on my start up menu and on my file menu.

Well, you're in the wrong group - this one's for Mac Word - but the limit is
9 in Word 2003.

The Task Bar's Start menu contains a Documents listing that holds more, but
it isn't exclusively Word docs... it lists any files regardless of type, but
that may be useful.

You can also add a folder to the My Places bar in the Open dialog - quite
handy if most of the files you need to access are within that folder - just
select a folder while in the Open dialog then click the Tools button &
select Add to "My Places".
