I need to generate a list of tables (and figures) in a document where the
table titles include the complete document section number (which is complex:
3.2.P.3.2-1, where "-1" is the actual table number within that section).
Because of this I couldn't use captions to number the tables. I have used
the same style for all the tables but when I go to generate the list of
tables I get the following error message, "Error, No table of contents
entries found." The path I followed (Word 2003) is Insert>Reference>Index &
Tables>Table of Figures, Tables from the Caption Label menu; >Options>Style
is checked; selected the proper style; Table entry fields unchecked; Table
identifier: defaults to F.
Any idea what I'm doing wrong?
