List of where queries are used?

I have an access database which has many queries which are leftover from
various tests and temporary data extract needs. Is there a tool which can
tell me which queries are used in all reports, queries, macros, or modules
in the database?

Hi Joseph,

You might want to take a look at the Total Access Analyzer (<
http://www.fmsinc.com/MicrosoftAccess/BestPractices.html>). Or you can use
Access's own Documenter. Run it on all the objects in Access with maximum
reporting settings, and then export/save it to a file of some sort that can
be searched (text, PDF, Word, whatever).

Products to document the database and do a global find and replace. All have
Access 97 and later versions. Some don't have an Access 2003 version, but may
still work with Access 2003.

Find and Replace: http://www.rickworld.com
Good link and has versions to support up to Access 2007 (Beta version only for
2007?) - Shareware (Approx $40-$60 depending on version). I believe you have
to purchase it if you want the functionality to create a list of places where
an object (a query for instance) is being used.

Speed Ferret: http://www.moshannon.com
Good Link and supports up to Access 2003 (2003 support requires an earlier
version of Access (2000 or 2002 to also be installed - $200 range)

Total Access Analyzer: http://www.fmsinc.com
Good Link: Supports up to 2007 ($300 range)
