List pasted into FrontPage 2003 table all goes into first cell

When I try to paste a tabulated list from Word into a FrontPage 2003 table in
Design view all the data goes into just the first cell.

I've tried using Edit-Paste-Special but I get the same result for all the
different combinations I've tried.

Also, the options box mentioned in the Help file for the "Paste" button on
the does not appear.

What am I doing wrong?
