listbox to listbox

Greetings to the Newsgroup. I am a relatively newcomer
to Access 2000 (or to Access even).

I have a dilemma regarding a listbox to listbox. What I
have is a main form (FormA) that is tracking the states a
client is in and the our employees working the client.
The employees are in a subform. No issue regarding the
matching of the subform to the mainform. But, rather
then have the user typing in the states (client can be
located in multiple states) for each client I would like
to use a listbox on FormA to hold the states. To get the
states to FormA I have a small popup form (FormB) that
has a listbox on it with the states. It is set to simple
select. On FormB is a button to transfer the all the
selected states over to FormA. The table for FormA has
the State field as text with display as listbox.

If anyone has an idea on the transferring of the states
from FormB to FormA, I am willing to try it. Or,if
anyone has other thoughts on how to keep the multiple
states listed, I am open to suggestions.

Thanks in advance to those that respond.

To start John, Access isn't basically about Forms, it is basically about
storing Data in Tables, and without a description of the data you have
stored, and how you have it stored, it's really hard to help. Forms, of
course, are useful for entering and editing data, and for controlling the
application -- but Forms aren't the _guts_ of your DB.
