listing Data

Hi

I am quite new to Excel 2000.
I am retrieving data from another application and using
DDE to transfer this data into 6 columns in Excel 2000
and it works fine no problems.
However, massing all this data I end up with a very large
spread sheet, with 500 or more rows, making it awkward to
view. Is it possible to produce a window on the sheet
which I can scroll through and view the data but at the
same time still observe data in other cells or blocks of
cells!

I hope I haven't confused!

Regards

Hi Nick,

I do some very simple in Excel. You can either create multiple window
from the menu under the WINDOW option. After selecting the window
just arrange according to your preference (vertical, horizontal).

Another way is to add a watch. This will allow you to monitor as man
cells as you wish while still scrolling the mounds of data.

Hope this has helped.

You may? want to FREEZE Panes. If so, select the row and column you want to
freeze (such as a3) and window>freeze Pane
