Listing Pages Error

Hello,
I am attempting to publish a website, actually any website, with
Frontpage, and it won't publish, it continues to say "Listing pages in
ftp://ftp.xyz.com. An error message never pops up, it just never
actually publishes any website, and seems to be stuck at this point.
Any ideas??
