Little boxes instead of spaces

When I veiw my table, some of the fields have little boxes between the words
instead of spaces.
I cannot copy them. I cannot find them when doing a replace.

How can I get rid of them and leave the data?

Chances are that they are either Carriage Return or Line Feed characters.
Access uses the combination of these two characters for a new line; other
softwares use just one.

If you do a search via query, look for the presence of Chr(10) [Line Feed]
or Chr(13) [Carriage Return] in the text.
