Hi

I don't know what these 'Little date/info windows that appear/disappear' are
called. They're a long (@3"), rectangular, horizontal narrow (@ 3/4")
window that give information when the cursor is over certain text. I can't
take a screenshot of them.

I don't like them. They get in my way. How can I turn them off, and turn
them back on should I have any reason to have them again?

Thanks, Rafael

I suspect you're talking about Comments.

One way to turn them off is to click the Show button on the Reviewing
toolbar, and select (uncheck) Comments. Do the same thing to turn them
back on.

Or if it's AutoComplete that's bugging you, Rafael (I agree with you -- I
find it annoying and the action to invoke the suggestion is usually no
quicker than just typing the word):

Choose Insert menu » AutoText » AutoText... » [but the resulting window is
titled "Auto Correct"] » AutoText button » de-select the tick-box "Show
AutoComplete tip for AutoText, Address Book contacts and dates".

I've fixed comments in word, but that doesn't seem to apply to Stickies. Is
stickies an Apple program and I should contact them?
