I am trying to help a local Community Transport group keep track of
where their passengers get on/off the bus.
What I have in mind is a lap top in the bus connected to a GPS so that
when the driver clicks on a passengers name, the database will extract
the current GPS position and store it in a table which really only
needs Passenger name, date and time and GPS co-ordinate.
Is it possible to link Access to NMEA data from a GPS. My first
concern is the log file for the GPS is "live" ie constantly being
updated so I am not sure how you would get in.
Any assistance much appreciated
