Live Groove is Really Just Groove for Consumers?

I downloaded Live Groove 2007 and to me it really is not a hosted service per
se. It is still a client server app installed and running on my PC(s). It
does use MS Groove relay servers just like the initial Groove product did.

I think the Live is just more of a MS naming thing to put the consumer
version of Groove under the MS Live product area, versus the corporate
version of Groove, which to me is the same product, but running under
installed Groove servers.

Am I right about this? Anybody else have a better description?

That's pretty much my take on it too, though my definition of consumer
extends to include all the smaller companies and organisations that have
gotten used to buying software and services over the internet rather than
using a dealer.

At $79 a year, its a bargain though I wish it came with at least some help
getting started to cover activation and firewall issues.
