Dear Sir / Madam.

I am still new freshgraduate for Netowrk.

I want to ask some question regarding specific solution.

First, i will give you a complete overview for My Current Network.
==============================================================================


1- We are a new Company with 2 locations, but we are in One Network segment
( all the 2 location under 192.168.1.x /24).

2- The Distance between each location is 40 KM, and we are connecting with
Wireless - highbandwidth .

3- All Pc's under one domain which is ( MYCOMPANY.COM ).

4- All Pc's are Windows XP Pro SP2.

5- the total users in both locations are 150 Users.

6- now, if any user require a technical assistant , we used to let him
enable Remote desktop connection on His Desktop and then i used to login
remotely on His Pc, and then do all my work and then let him work.

7- sometimes the Remote desktop connection is ot working at all , or
sometime is not let you to connect.

8- in this case, i have to travle 40 KM in order to solve his Problem.

9- also the user compalain to me that, he want to see every thing i am
doing on his PC while i am working remotely.

10- i tried before while i had a case opened with Microsft, they let me to
login to this URL: http://www.support.com/ra

and then put user name and password and then start give him a full control
over my PC.

11- this is done by using Live meeting .

12- i tried alot of software that allow remote connection, but unfortuantly
all of them working using INTERNET, and according to my situation, the People
they do not have internet at all according to the Company Policy.


Now i want to implement this solution by using Microsoft Live Meeting in My
company but using INTRANET.

i already install Microsoft Live Meeting on one server, and its appear in
front of me, in the Add/Remove Program.

But i do not know how to work with it.

As i red i can work with it from Microsft Outlook, but its not apper in
front of me.

anyway, i want the user to type the URL for this server and to put user name
and password and then start meeting.

Now, i do not know how to make it.

the server has the following information:-

Internal IP: 10.10.10.1
Server Name: IT-SUP.

when i try to access the Site from any other user by type :-
http://10.10.10.1 , it give me error message the Page cant be displayed.

so i want to implement it, so did i missed something here ?

i did not install Terminal service on this server at all, i did not install
IIS at all on this server at all .

Please help me, i want the user to type in His Browser, http://IT-SUP , then
he will have Page to give him User name and Password on Microsoft Live
Manager, and then i will give him this user name & Password & i will start
working with him on the live meeting.

Please some one Help me to do that .

The Main thing, after i install Microsoft Live Meeting , its appear in front
of me in the Add / Remove Program , But the main question for me, is i do not
know really how to Work with it, how to establish or create a Server it self
or how to establish my Live meeting virtual server ?


I do not know the steps, what should i do after i install, i am stuck on
this step, so can you please update me .

Remote Data Access doesn't require Live meeting. Capability is in Windows to some extent and there are 3rd party products that have
been around since CPM days, such as PC Anywhere (now a Symantec product) that let the users on both ends of the connection work on a
single screen.

If you're using the Live Meeting client, the remote desktop access requires the MS Office Live Meeting Professional version rather
than the MS Office Live Meeting Standard version.

For MS Office Live Meeting questions you may want to post in the Live Meeting and Live Meeting Server community/newsgroups

Dear Sir / Madam.

I am still new freshgraduate for Netowrk.

I want to ask some question regarding specific solution.

First, i will give you a complete overview for My Current Network.

1- We are a new Company with 2 locations, but we are in One Network segment
( all the 2 location under 192.168.1.x /24).

2- The Distance between each location is 40 KM, and we are connecting with
Wireless - highbandwidth .

3- All Pc's under one domain which is ( MYCOMPANY.COM ).

4- All Pc's are Windows XP Pro SP2.

5- the total users in both locations are 150 Users.

6- now, if any user require a technical assistant , we used to let him
enable Remote desktop connection on His Desktop and then i used to login
remotely on His Pc, and then do all my work and then let him work.

7- sometimes the Remote desktop connection is ot working at all , or
sometime is not let you to connect.

8- in this case, i have to travle 40 KM in order to solve his Problem.

9- also the user compalain to me that, he want to see every thing i am
doing on his PC while i am working remotely.

10- i tried before while i had a case opened with Microsft, they let me to
login to this URL: http://www.support.com/ra

and then put user name and password and then start give him a full control
over my PC.

11- this is done by using Live meeting .

12- i tried alot of software that allow remote connection, but unfortuantly
all of them working using INTERNET, and according to my situation, the People
they do not have internet at all according to the Company Policy.


Now i want to implement this solution by using Microsoft Live Meeting in My
company but using INTRANET.

i already install Microsoft Live Meeting on one server, and its appear in
front of me, in the Add/Remove Program.

But i do not know how to work with it.

As i red i can work with it from Microsft Outlook, but its not apper in
front of me.

anyway, i want the user to type the URL for this server and to put user name
and password and then start meeting.

Now, i do not know how to make it.

the server has the following information:-

Internal IP: 10.10.10.1
Server Name: IT-SUP.

when i try to access the Site from any other user by type :-
http://10.10.10.1 , it give me error message the Page cant be displayed.

so i want to implement it, so did i missed something here ?

i did not install Terminal service on this server at all, i did not install
IIS at all on this server at all .

Please help me, i want the user to type in His Browser, http://IT-SUP , then
he will have Page to give him User name and Password on Microsoft Live
Manager, and then i will give him this user name & Password & i will start
working with him on the live meeting.

Please some one Help me to do that .

Remote Data Access doesn't require Live meeting. Capability is in Windows to some extent and there are 3rd party products that have
been around since CPM days, such as PC Anywhere (now a Symantec product) that let the users on both ends of the connection work on a
single screen.
