"Live Preiverw" feature missing on Office 2008 for the Mac

There is a "Live Preview" feature that is on Office 2007 for the PC that appears to be missing from the 2008 Mac version.

It is a most favorable feature that allows you to quickly see how formatting options like Fonts and Quick Styles will look in place before you commit to them, by using the "Live Preview" feature.

If the "Live Preview" feature is indeed included on Office 2008 for the Mac, what "Word" version is it on?

No, unfortunately, this feature did not make it into Word 2008. Make sure to
send your feedback to Microsoft by clicking on Help>Send Feedback about
Word.

Very sorry to hear that. It was the main feature that prompted me to upgrade to Office 2008. I was perfectly content with using Office 2004. But that "Live Preview" feature in the 2007 PC version had convinced me to get the "new, IMPROVED MAc version."

I think you might find that that got dropped because it's a bit too
power-hungry for the Mac yet.
