live video/audio in Powerpoint?

Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)

I would like to be able to do one of, or both, of the following. Have tool bar application on the powerpoint when it is showing to be able to record audio/video, play, pause, rewind, etc. I just want something to make it easy to record audio/video embedded into the ppt while it is showing. any ideas?
