I have a PowerPoint 2007 slideshow operating in XPHome that loops every 5
minutes and uses the "liveweb" addin to provide two of the slides with
active views from a camera on the web. The camera software on the website
requires a username and password for access and requests this information
via a popup window every time the the loop gets to this point. The window
has the ability to save the login info and this works but next time the
slide is reached it asks again even though the name and password are shown
in the popup window I still have to press "enter" to continue the show. The
strange thing is that the requirement to hit "enter" is not required on all
the xp machines we have here. It somehow appears to be related possibly to
website access time and/or the way the slides are organised. If I access the
website being used for the camera slides using Internet Explorer and LogIn
and leave IE running in the background ther is no problem. I only have to
login the first time in PowerPoint.
If anyone has a solution or any suggestions about what may be the problem I
would be most grateful to receive them.
Thank-you
