I have a setup question and i don't know if it will work with access but
want to ask anyways...
I have 4 servers that are Dual 700MHZ that i would like to load balance
using Terminal Server. I have a vb6 application using a Access 97 database
as the back end. (yeah i know its old stuff).
Here is what i would like to do if possible:
I would like a terminal server client through RDP to connect to a single
ip/dns address and it goes to the first open server or lowest used server.
The user would not know it one bit. How would I configure this?
Should I install each program and database on every server or have one
server has the data on it or what?
Please let me know if anyone has done this before. I would like to use my
old servers rather then just sitting in the server room.
Currently I can get 50 users with my program on it but would like to create
redundancy and utilize the whole server farm vs just one server for
resources.
Thanks in the future.
Thanks,
Mike
