Load Balancing Views Notification Service

Hi,

I've got a Project Server 2003 (SP1) deployment and I've offloaded my
views Notification and Session Management services to another machine.

I've now got an additional machine on which I've installed the
Notification and Session Management services and I want to Load Balance
them.

The Project Server 2003 Installation Guide (Chapter 10, page 167)
states that "Project Server 2003 Service Pack 1 (SP1) supports the load
balancing of the Project Server Views Notification Service". This
section was added to the guide in September 2004.

The Project Server 2003 Configuration Planning Guide (last updated
August 2004) only talks about NLB'ing View Processing in an
Active/Passive, Coverged/Standby configuration.

Project Server 2003 Service Pack 1 (SP1) was realased in August 2004,
but I can't find any details in the notes about it
(http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=837241 ) allowing full NLB'ing to
increase performance.

Can anyone point me to more information on this, can it be done as
stated? The installation guide talks about performance increases with
three View servers running, but the configuration planning information
states that this isn't possible.

I'm trying to figure out where the disconnect is before I go ahead and
try implementing this.

If anyone else had already implemented an Active/Active NLB views
processing configuration I would greatly appreciate hearing from you.

Regards,
MDWigs
