Load Macro on Startup - problem with Outlook

Hi,

Further to my post on 9/25/2006 with subject "Load Macro on Startup" (sorry,
don't know how to link it here), I am having a problem on machines which have
Microsoft Outlook set to use Word as the email editor. When this is the case,
the Autoexec sub does not execute when MS Word is opened. Is there a
workaround/solution to this problem?

Open Word before Outlook.
or
use Outlook's own editor which is quite up to the task of producing e-mails.

Thanks Graham, logical and it does work.

I am a little hesitant to tell the client that they will need to have MS
Word open on the desktops all day as they currently do with MS Outlook. It
seems a little messy.

I am hoping there is a more "technical" solution that I am not aware of
which makes the solution a little more foolproof.

Perhaps I have gone about the development of the solution incorrectly. All I
wanted was to have a toolbar added to the user's MS Word program with a
single Combobox which has a list of options. Each option has an event linked
to it.

This toolbar needs to be there WHENEVER they open Word, irrespective of the
order it is opened. Surely this is possible?
