Loadbalancing Project Server Notification Service

Hi all,

since the Project Server Notification Service is a bottleneck I decided to
install a loadbalanced notification service (as described in the Installation
Guide).

my archtiecture is the following
- 1 application server (frontend server)
- 1 views notification server
- 1 database server

I installed the notification service on all three servers and configured a
forwarding from the application server to the two other servers.

Now the db server, and the notification server are quite busy. The
application server has not much to do. Now I was wondering if it is possible
to configure the front end server so that it also processes some XML-files
himself ? Is this possible ?

Olaf,

I don't think this is possible. Your application server can either process
the XML files by itself or forward it, mixing both methods is not possible.
