Loading a bounded form is very slow

Dear all,

I have a Access application links to a Access database. When I load a record
to a bounded form, it is very slow (around 10 seconds). However if I load the
same record to a unbounded form using DAO.recordset, it shows up
spontaneously. Is there a way to speed up the loading of record to a bounded
form? I prefer a bounded form as the development is much easier.

There's quite a number of items to work through, but it is worth your
effort. As you say, it is so much quicker to develop bound forms.
