Hi,
Is there a way to load a csv file (comma seperated text
file) into Excel with macro attached to color certain
fields and Bold the first column automatically.

Try turning on the macro recorder when you do it once by hand. Keep recording
while you're doing your formatting and you'll be pretty darn close when you're
done.

JJ,

Yes is the short answer. Without more detail, I can't provide a more helpful
one.

I suggest to you, that you record a macro to import your .csv file, and bold
the first column. If you get stuck, repost to the programming newsgroup.

Colouring fields is a little more difficult, and sounds like conditional
formatting. This would allow you to select colours depending on the values
in the fields. Again, this can be done programmatically, but more detail is
needed to proivde a helpful response.

Sorry

Steve
