Loading Access 97 Upgrade onto Windows xp

I just got a new computer with Windows xp.
I have installed up my Office 97 program, and when trying
to install my Access '97 upgrade, it goes through the
Upgrade Check and says, set up has searched the hard
drive and cannot find a qualifying product.

I've tried selecting the Office dirctory, and even Even
when I install my Office 97 CD and click Locate in the
D:\ drive, I get the same error.

Any advice?
