LOADING BLANK PAGES

J

Jean Larson

A friend of mine wrote above the following problem and asked if I have
ever heard of this.

Her main complaint is that Microsoft Excel is corrupt.

When you call up Excel, it loads blank pages like mad until it saturates
memory (somewhere around 126 pages). She has removed all of Microsoft
Office and reloaded it but the problem is still there.

Do you have any ideas?

Check the XLStart directory. Anything in it will be opened by Excel when it
starts up

Andy,

I finally was able to check out the problem as described below. Thank
you so much. It worked great. There were two files in there. I deleted
them and Excel was back to normal.

Thanks also to Rekoj for the additional help.
