Loading File As Field

I have imported several hundred email addresses into the
email contact field in Outlook 2000. This is the ONLY
field that has data in each contact. Now I want to add
all of these email addresses to a master distribution
list.

The problem is none of the contacts have data in
the "File as:" field and I cannot add the email addresses
to a distribution list with that field being null.

Is there a global fix for these 500+ contacts so I can
copy the email address into the "File as:" field?

I loaded them from a windows csv file. I am using Outlook 2000

Thank you for the help. I just re-posted the question since I didn't realize you had replied....
