Can anyone advise me please? My PC was operating on XP Home edition and
I was using Office 2000 premium which contains FP, I ran my web site
from this system with no problem. My PC got a virus and I had to have
XP home edition re installed, when I come to install Office 2000
premium I get the message ' server extension' unable to access
configuration for microsoft personal web server. Then when I try to
publish my web site I get the message " could not find a web server at
www.monkbrettoncricketclub.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk on port 80. Please
check to make sure that the web server name is valid and your proxy
settings are set correctly. My connection is broadband.

Windows XP home does not support PWS or IIS (or any server)
- if you installed PWS from an older version of FP, delete it (Control Panel Add Remove Components - FP - Change)

Then check your online site URL
http://www.monkbrettoncricketclub.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/ give me a 403 Forbidden in IE

XP Home doesn't support PWS or IIS. So you can only create diskbased
webs locally.
For the other error contact your Provider and have the FP Extensions
checked.
Currently the site gives a 403 forbidden. Which probably means that
there are no valid default document there.

Actually, WinXP Home does support Apache web server for Windows, but Apache
will not support the server extensions.
