Loading MS Office 2002 onto new PC

I am replacing my PC. Can I simply re-load the Office Software onto new PC?
Is validation a problem?

If it is OEM, can't be done. If it's Retail, simple uninstall from the
old one and reinstall onto the new one, then activate.
