Loading MSN add in to Windows Messenger 4.7

I am running Windows XP Professional and Office XP Professional with Windows
Messenger 4.7. I would like to load the MSN add in for Windows Messenger
but I am afraid that it will mess up my Outlook/Messenger integration. Will
loading this add in cause trouble with Internet Explorer or Outlook?

Also, I use a dial up 56k faxmodem to connect to the Internet. I noticed on
Windows Update that there is a new IP6 stack update. I do have a built in
10/100 LAN card, but I have not finished loading my other PC so I just have
the main computer plugged into Linksey's 10/100 hub. Should I load the IP6
update or does it tend to screw up things? I am connecting to the Internet
pretty well right now with the exception of a few dropped connections and
occasional "cannot display page" messages.

I do have all other critical and applicable updates for Windows and Office
loaded.

Not likely to. I doubt the MSN add-in will, however, be supported in Windows
Messenger in the future. MSN Messenger (currently at version 6.2) has that
support built in.
You probably don't need the IP6 stack update but installing it should do no
harm.
