Loading Office Enterprise- help

I'm trying to load Office Enterprise 2007 from a CD. When I start th
installation, it opens, accepts my product number then opens the term
and conditions window. I click "agree", "continue", and a new windo
opens- and just sits there frozen, and I can't get any ****her. I hav
plenty of hard drive space, and I've tried copying it onto my C driv
and running it from there. And I've also uninstalled my old Offic
software. Still does the same thing.

My OS is XP, and the error log says, and I quote, "Hanging applicatio
setup.exe, version 12.04518.1014, hang module hungapp, version 0.0.0
hang adress 0x00000000."

I get the feeling something is hung up. I would be grateful for an
suggestions. The IT guys at work are out of ideas.

Peter- thanks for the info. I was not aware of that. I'll let you kno
how things go after I have a chance to talk to MS E support- I have t
wait until business hours.
