loading office from old pc

Hi, I have just bought a new PC loaded with XP home
running works 2003.My problem is that my old pc ran
office 2000, and I used Excel a lot. When I try to
download those files to my new pc it tells me the formula
is too long, among other errors. Is there any way to load
office from my old pc before I get rid of it, or will I
have to buy the software. I do not have Office 2000 on
cd, but only an older version (97).

Thanks
Ray

You need the CDs to install Office on your new PC. The Office files can be
copied but it does not install the program.
