loading OS X Microsoft Office on Leopard

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: intel

I only occasionally use the office suite on my MAC. Do I need to purchase an upgrade for my new OS 10.5?

You can use Office X with Leopard, but it is end of life software and
Entourage problems with the daylight saving time change that occurred a
couple of years ago. If you don't need Exchange you can get Office 2008 very
reasonably. $129.99
