Loading PST from Flash to new Laptop

I have my Outlook Contacts from home PC windows XP Outlook loaded on a Flash
Drive. Can't figure out where & how to load in my new Laptop with Vista and
MS Office Small Business (w/ Outlook)?? I'm new at this with no experience.
Appreciate your help.

I'll assume Office SB is version 2003 or higher
Install Office SB, Configure OL with your accounts & test settings.
With your flash drive connexted, in OL File>Open>Data File.....browse to the
pst on the flash drive
Copy data from this data file to the default data file, once done close the
flash data file.

Or Copy flash data file to a convenient location on your HD - NOT the
default OL location - then open as before.
You can either copy data or leave it open
