Loading Speed of PWA Home page's RISKS \ ISSUES

When loading the PWA home page, the Risks and Issues is slow to determine
that there are no new risks \ issues assigned.

Question
======
What is the root cause? Knowing this may allow reallocation of resources
to reduce loading time.

I have a medium scale installation with WSS and Project Server front end
segregated to two different servers.

When I execute an IISRESET then browse to the Project Web Access home page,
the initial page load is slow. If you experience continual network
performance problems consider a network hardware review (ie switches rather
then hubs), inventory the workload of the project server (perfmon), and
check the WSS server (if its separate).
