LoB connectivity

I am managing EPM 2007 (SQL 2005, 3 tiers) and want to connect the Oracle
Applications 11i the PS module to the EPM system.
At my company, the customer support opens a Service Request and assign a
professional services personnel to the call.
I would like then, that the Oracle system, refer to the EPM and check of
that resource availability.
Has anyone done such thing? can you lead me to the solution?

Hi,

That sounds like a business as usual request (not project related). I solve
that by allocating an average number of hours (say 10) to the BAU people and
teams like customer support can use up to that amount each week. In Project
Server the Max Units are set to exclude all admin and BAU hours so PS only
has to balance project workloads.
