Local ressources creates automatically a new user on project server

Clients: Project Professional 2003
Server: Project Server 2002

Hello,

i have a problem with local ressources. Everytime i add a local ressource to
my project, a new user with the same name is automatically created on the
server. I have project manager rights on the server.

How can i add local ressources without creating users on the server?

Your Project Server administrator is the source of this problem and is the
only one who can solve it. He/she must do the following:

1. Log into PWA with administrator permissions.
2. Click Admin - Server Configuration.
3. Scroll to the permissions grid in the middle of the page.
4. In the permissions grid, set the three Account Creation options to Deny.
5. Click the Save Changes button.

yes, it works. Thanks!

Now, i get always a message from the Microsoft Office Project
Server-Spooler, if i add a local ressource. The error message is that the
manager could not create a ressource account (0x8C040017). Do you know, how
can i suppress this meassage from the Server-Spooler?
