LOCALHOST not available in fp2003

Hoping someone here can help me - Tom Miller sent me over from
microsoft.public.frontpage group as none there could help with my problem.

Can anyone please help me figure out why none of the webistes will show when
I go to Open Site / Network Places / localhost??

I keep getting an error that says docuemnts in this folder are not
available. The folder may have ben moved or deleted, or network problems
preventing a connection to the server.

When I go to my harddrive and look in C:/INETPUB/WWWROOT - they are all
there.....

I'm on XP Pro (service pack 2) - fp2003 and everything worked find till
sometime last week when I was unable to open any websites thru fp unless I
open them live or open them from my backup - just can't open them in the
localhost place.


would sure appreciate some help!

Try accessing via http://localhost or http://machinename.

Also make sure that you don't have a software firewall that is now suddently
blocking port 80 (the http port) from being accessed.
