Locating messages dragged to local folders

I am dragging messages from my IMAP inbox to a folder located under Personal
Folders. However, my finger slips and the message is placed on the root of
Personal Folders.
The only way I can recover the messages is by performing an Advanced Find
for the subject or any relevant field. When the results post, the message is
located in a folder called “Top of Personal Foldersâ€. Is there any way to
view these messages in this folder without performing and Advanced Find?

Right-click the root of the Personal Folders and choose Properties. Click
the Home Page tab and either uncheck "Show home page by default for this
folder" or clear the contents of the "Address" field and click OK. Now go
select the Personal Folders root again. You'll see the contents and can
move it where you'd like. When done, restore the settings you had.
