I'm trying to print envelopes with a graphic in the upper left corner and the
address in the center of the envelope. The paper size is set to the
envelope size. The location and alignment of the graphic looks correct in
print layout. When it's printed, the graphic seems to get moved "up" so that
there is a much greater distance between the graphic and the address, and the
graphic is actually above the top border of the envelope. (And because it is
printing in a location not actually on the envelope, ink gets squirted all
over the inside of the printer.) The mystery is that if it is printed
again, without changing anything, the graphic prints in the correct location.
I'm using Word 2007.
Any ideas why the graphic would print in the wrong place on the first go and
then somehow automatically move to the correct location on the second
printing?
(But the second printing picks up the mess inside the printer from the first
printing, so printing everything twice isn't a workaround.)
