Location or Access DB and Form Distribution

Hello,

I have a setup question. I plan on using Access to hold my Infopath data.
From reading I understand I can build and save my forms locally but they MUST
be published to shared drive that everyone can access.

If this is the case where does my Access database have to be located? Does
it also have to be in the same shared directory? Could I locate it somewhere
else if I only wanted certain people to see the data? Could I keep it on my
local drive?

2nd part

On form distribution what should I do? Do staff just go to the shared
directory and see a long list of forms? Any ideas on making this nicer? I
guess I could create links in the Inranet? Any suggestions?

Thanks

The database would need to be somewhere accessible by everyone who you wanted
and can have permission on it.
Best practice would be to use SQL or SQl Express rather than Access if
multiple users will be using it concurently.

If storing all of the dat in Access you would probably just have one form
which interacted with the data.
Otherwise yes the XML documents would be stored somewhere, probably
centrally, too.
