Lock an Image in the ide

Hi,

I have an image and while I am adding text around the image sometimes you
select the image instead and move this by mistake, is there any way vba or
else that will lock the image?

Also, is there a shortcut to panning in a slide without using the
scrollbars?

If you put the image on the 'slide master' then you cannot select it while
normally editing your slides.

You may need to create a 'slide master' just for this purpose.

I don't believe so. However a little known trick is to select an object on
a slide, and then 'zoom' in. Powerpoint will zoom into the currently
selected object.

As TAJ says there's no easy way to lock the image without putting it on the
master but I'm not sure I understand your problem. If the text boxes are in
front of the picture in the z order it's usually quite hard to select the
picture by mistake.
