lock anchor frames

I have frames on a form to control the typing. This worked but if we hit a
return then it creates another line and expands the frame box. I have
formatted my frame to lock anchor but this doesn't' seem to work. Also, I
could probably control what I want with a drop down box but the field wasn't
long enough is there a way to tell the form how long you want the field to
be? Thanks for any help.

You can set the Frame's Height (and Width) to "exact" dimensions. Right-click
the Frame and choose the Format command to open the dialog box.
