lock filters

Hello everyone,
I need to submit a project schedule to a client, but do not want them to see
everything that's on the detail schedule, nor do I want to create a new one
since it's pretty long. Is there a way I can sort the info I want them to see
then lock it somehow so that they can't expand that info?

thank you

I usually do this by creating a view that I want and printing it to pdf, or
you can export the data that you want to Excel and send that.

Jason,
The only way you can prevent someone from viewing information in a
Project file is to give it to them as something other than a .mpp file.
In other words, if the recipient has Project, he/she will be able to
view any data therein. Save the file as web page, pdf or some other
non-Project format.

If you really need to give them a Project file (i.e. .mpp) then you will
need to bite the bullet and create a separate new file without the
detail - a pain in the keester but it could probably be automated with
VBA.
