Lock form to aspect ratio.

Does anybody know if there is any way to lock a form to the aspect ration it
is in in the minimized view? I set my form up with a background picture and
it looks really neat in the regular, minimized size. If you maximize the
form, though, the picture winds us in the middle of the whole screen even
though the form is still just in the top of the screen. Is there any way to
disable the choice of maximizing, or else at least lock the picture to the
form itself so if you maximize it, the picture will still look exactly the
same and simply fill the form, leaving all the gray area under the form as
just gray area? Thanks.

Wow... nevermind. There was actually an option in the form format options to
take away the min and max buttons. I didn't notice that before.

And the question arises:

What is the resolution of the monitor you are using to develop on?

And then the most important one.....

Given multiple users, with varying eyesight abilities and varying
responsiveness of companies to buy larger monitors for people with
challanged eyesight, how will your nicely designed form with no min/
max buttons work for a person who has his/her monitor/windows set up
for MAX font sice and low resolution?

At my company we have to use our customer's corporately designed web
apps that have those options turned off AND the windows are a FIXED
size. It is a real bear for some of our employees to use the app
because the fields they need are off the side of the fixed window size
and there are NO elevators to move the form AND no way to make them
full screen. THINK TWICE or even more before taking that ability away
from the user.

For some Apps we have developed in house, I have had to develp both
High and Low Resolution forms to accommodate the needs of the users.
Think about it.

Good advice. We did take that into consideration, though. The only people
that will actually use the database to get reports are in my group, which
only consists of a handful of users. None of them have any issues that would
require consideration such as that.

Even if they did, it would be a simple matter of creating alternative forms
optimized for their viewing. It wouldn't take long at all.
