Lock of a the first column?

Hi, in Excel you can lock a column, so it stays visable, while you scroll the
oters to the right.
How do you do that in Visio?

I'm not sure what feature in Visio you are equating to columns in Excel.

Oh, sorry, in a workflow/swimlane you have the roles in the first column, I
want to lock that, while you scroll the swimlane to the right.

I don't think such a thing is possible. The swimlane headings are just
shapes like everything else. They do not float above the paper independent
of scrolling.
