Lock projects from change

J

Jean

I have set up different versions for my projects. What's the best way to
lock down all the projects in a version so that users can only view them and
not make any changes?

Thanks,

Assuming that your organization is using Project Server 2003, and assuming
that your Project Server administrator has not changed the default
permissions in Groups and Categories, then no one in your organization can
open and edit your projects but you. If the Project Server administrator
has changed permissions to allow everyone to open and edit everyone else's
projects, then perhaps he/she needs to reconsider this decision based on
your needs. Other than setting permissions in Project Server, there is no
way for you to lock down your projects. Hope this helps.
