Lock tasks in timesheet

Hi:

I want to know if there is any way to lock a task in the timesheet in order
that user cannot put hours into them.

My problem is thaty I have PWA configured with managed periods and a custom
field in Project Professional in which the project manager indicates if the
task is solved. When he indicates the tasks is solved, I`ll want the task
still appearin in timesheet (in all tasks) but users will noy be able to put
hours into the tasks. Is posible to change something in database to lock that
task??

There is no default method to "lock" a task so that actuals cannot be
entered against it once the task has been completed. Therefore, you should
make this a training and performance issue with your team members and
project managers. Hope this helps.

New PDS methods introduced in SP1, namely AssignmentsGet, AssignmentsSave,
and AssignmentsProjectManagerUpdate, address some of your requirement. Once
an assignment is "locked" from data input using these methods, it will
disappear from the timesheet.
