Lock up in both Outlook 2003 and the 2007 beta 2

Patricia

I am getting a little fed up with outlook, for both 2003 and the 2007 beta.
this would happen when I would log out of outlook 2003. The other night, I
decided to try the office 2007 beta, and I went about my normal routine that
I do when I am in 2003. PLEASE FIX THIS ASAP!!!!. First of all, it takes
like 5 mins for outlook to finish loading, if I do not get frustrated first,
then get out of it (after hitting crl, alt, and delete), then it runs
smoothly. next, I click on send/receive and after it downloads my emails,
it ask for my password for my ISP. What is up with that. finally, when I
read my emails, unless I am replying to them, I do not expect the writing
tool to show up. I cannot do nothing then, and I have shut the porgram
down. again fix this before you make it a final issue for the public to
have the same type of problem.

there is something wrong with your configuration - what type of accounts do
you have?
do you sync with any devices?
did you make a new profile?
what addins do you use?

Hello Patricia,

Would be helpful if you tell us a little more about your machine. What OS
are you running? How much RAM do you have? How much free disk space?
How large is your Personal Folders File and what version of Outlook was it
created with?

Why are you pressing CTRL+ALT+DELETE when Outlook loads?

Any word on the Business Contact Manager hang-ups? Can't get Outlook to open.
Any way to disable the BCM module temporarily? Cheers.

if it's affecting the load, you'll need to disable it completely.
