lock up on print

we are having a problem with word 00 locking up when we
choose print, sometimes it happens just on ok and other
times it locks up when we choose local or network printer.
any ideas? naturally this only happens before autosave
kicks on and we end up loosing anything we didn't save. you

Test to see if this happens with all documents or just specific documents. If it only happens with a particular file, you may be
hitting a resource limitation (large file), or you may have a damaged object somewhere in the document.

If it happens across the board, try updating your printer driver.
