Hi,
When I create an .xsn template for a form in InfoPath and then create
an infopath project in visual studio from that template the fields in
the data source become locked. I often find myself going outside
infopath and editing the schema in notepad so I can delete unneeded
fields or edit other fields.
My strategy when a change is needed is that I close vs2005 and
infopath - backup my project schema then edit the schema in notepad
and go back into VS. This is often very time consuming and is not
graceful to have to go outside the dev. environment to do something
that I should be able to do while developing.
If needs be I could lock the fields myself when finished developing
and before publishing.
Is there any graceful way to edit fields on a form in a vs 2005
project without having to use tools outside the environment?
