Microsoft word is locked. I am not able to type or do anything. I may have
hit the wrong key on the board but now Im stuck. It says its in "
compatiblity mode.

SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP

It sounds like you have a new computer with a trial version that has now
expired or you failed to Activate after installation and Office is now in
reduced functionality mode.
