I have an Access 2002 database that has been working fine
until recently. It is on a small peer-to-peer network
and is generally used for data entry by two people. A
few days ago, there was an error message saying that some
data was corrupt and asking if I wanted Access to repair
(I can't remember this message exactly). I said yes.
Since the repair, only one person can open the database
at a time. If a second person tries to open they get a
message saying the the database is locked and it is not
possible to open. The setting is still set to share.
There is no record locking set and there are no
permission issues. The record locking file that opens
when the database is open now has a file name of
(Database Name) Lockfile 9.
How can I correct this problem so that we can share it
again.
Thanks for any help.
